Our government has been infiltrated with homegrown fascists. They are a minority of racist supremacists who believe they are better than the majority of the population.
Born in 1953, I’ve seen many bad things but I’ve never seen anything as bad as what is happening today. If this president and his administration are allowed to continue with their agenda, our democracy is doomed!
Heather Cox Richardson high lighted in her Substack letter that Fascism is government by the few and for the few. The objective is seizure and control of the economic, political, social, and cultural life of the state. Fascism treats women as mere breeders. Fascists make their own rules and change them when they choose…. They maintain themselves in power by use of force combined with propaganda based on primitive ideas of ‘blood’ and ‘race,’ by skillful manipulation of fear and hate, and by false promise of security. The propaganda glorifies war and insists it is smart and ‘realistic’ to be pitiless and violent.
When you boil it down, In a democracy the people Run the Government. With Fascism the government runs the people. Fascism thrives on indifference and ignorance! If we are to remain a free country, Freedom requires being able to see what they are doing to our country and for all of us to hold the line against them.
